γ-Methoxypropylamine (MOPA), also known as 3-methoxypropylamine, is mainly used for the synthesis of dyes and the synthesis of Disperse Turquoise Blue S-GL (i.e., Disperse Blue 60#). It can also be used for the synthesis of antistatic agents and surfactants. This product is also a high-grade organic solvent and can further be used in water treatment corrosion inhibitors, as a raw material for electronic etching solutions, grain protectants, emulsifiers, and wetting agents.
